- VERY SORRY - NO BAKERY PRODUCTION FROM 17th - 22nd May 2012. Our bakery is closed for a short break from Thursday 17th May for just 4 days. Web orders can still be taken, however, we are not back in action until Tues 22nd May 2012, so please make allowances for delivery times. Sorry for any inconvenience caused but hopefully your dogs will understand? Please apologise to your dog on our behalf:)
- Definitions
[The Company] means Wilson’s Pet Bakery.
[WPB] means Wilson’s Pet Bakery.
[Terms] means the terms and conditions.
[Goods] means any items offered for sale by the company.
[You] means the customer or individual who places an order with the Company for goods. - Delivery: Delivery is by Royal Mail, 1st Class Packet Service. If an order weighs over 4 kilos it is likely to be delivered by a courier service. We will notify you prior to dispatch if this is the case.
- Delivery Schedule: Please allow up to 7 working days for full delivery time. Monday to Friday are classed as working days.
Usually an order leaves us after approximately 2 - 5 days. It is then sent out by 1st Class Royal Mail which may take another 1 - 3 days to arrive. (So allowing up to 7 working days is a good guide.) Peak times such as Christmas may be slightly longer. We promise we will always get your order made and dispatched as quickly as possible, so it may arrive well before the 7 working days. - Specific Delivery Dates: Please contact Wilson’s Pet Bakery if you require a specific delivery date or an urgent request. Only if it is possible to complete the order and then arrange for the goods to be delivered on the specifically required date - an agreement will be made in writing. This agreement may require you (the customer), to pay additional postage costs to allow the goods to be delivered quickly. Royal Mail Special Delivery or Next Day Delivery Courier services are usually used. An approximate cost for this service is £8.95
- Unless you have had written confirmation from Wilson’s Pet Bakery agreeing to meet your specific delivery date, then unfortunately we cannot guarantee delivery will be made by your date entered on the Checkout Page, if that date is before our stated 7 working days delivery schedule. We will contact you if we are aware of a delay.
- Wilson’s Pet Bakery warrants that the goods will be free from any defects at the time of dispatch.
- IMPORTANT: Our treats will not fit through a letter box, so someone at the delivery address will have to accept the parcel from the postman or delivery driver. Please make necessary arrangements to accept the parcel. [WPB] must be informed in writing prior to dispatch of alternative delivery instructions, if they are necessary.
- If [you] are not able to accept delivery of the parcel when the goods are delivered, [you] will be responsible for collection from the depot holding the goods or make payment for any additional delivery arrangements. [WPB] cannot accept any liability for late delivery of the goods or non-delivery, where this is caused by circumstances beyond our control. All risks shall pass to the consumer upon delivery. [WPB] accepts no responsibility or liability for products damaged in adverse weather conditions. [You] must notify [WPB] of any defects within 24 hours of receipt of the goods and [WPB] must be given a reasonable opportunity to view the goods.
- Postage Prices: Our postage prices are based on the weight of your order and we use the current Royal Mail 1st Class Packet prices. Please note, each of our bakery and confectionery treats will vary in weight due to them being handmade. The weight for each product shown on the ‘Product Page’ is including an approximate calculated percentage of the total postal packaging weight. As you add more items to basket the weights are added together and a postage cost is shown. The price of the postage is shown in the Doggy Bag and on Checkout.
- Payment: We accept PayPal and debit/credit card payments shown on the site. Please note: WorldPay and PayPal take payment at the time of purchase. If any orders are placed by telephone we take payment just before the order is dispatched.
- Privacy Policy: We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998) and according to the Web Trader Code of Practice. Your details are stored on a computer according to the terms of the Data Protection Act 1984. If you have any concerns regarding this privacy statement please contact [WPB].
- Copyright & Intellectual Property: All copyright, trademarks and any other intellectual property rights displayed in the website such as website content and all the designs of bakery & confectionery treats are owned by or licensed to Wilson's Pet Bakery. These intellectual property rights also include: website design, text, graphics, photographs, videos, software, source codes which are connected with this site. When accessing the website you agree that you will access the content solely for your own personal, non-commercial use. None of the content of this site or bakery and confectionery designs may be copied, downloaded, sold or distributed without the prior written consent from ‘Wilson’s Pet Bakery’, the copyright holder.

- Security when placing your order: The padlock image will appear on the top bar of your browser (next to the web address) when you place items in the Doggy Bag (shopping cart) and the pages beyond. This is a sign that tells you that you are ordering on secure pages. An additional sign is the fact that the URL in the address bar changes from http: to https:
- Dietary Requirements: All ingredients have been clearly stated on this website. Please check with your vet if your dog has any special dietary requirements. Our treats are made to the highest standard possible using top quality ingredients. They are a complimentary pet food for dogs, to be given as special treat or reward. Remember these are luxury treats, so please do not over indulge your pet. We advise the treats to be broken into smaller pieces and fed sparingly. We encourage a balanced diet and a healthy, happy lifestyle for dogs. Always ensure there is a bowl of fresh, clean water available for your dog.
- Placing an Order: Once your order has been placed it is considered to be a confirmed contract between [you] and Wilson’s Pet Bakery. You may cancel your complete order without reason up to 24 hours after you have placed the order unless it is a personalised order - and or if the making of the goods has already begun - and or if [WPB] have already dispatched your goods.
- Exceptions to the right to cancel regarding personalised goods: Once your order has been placed, this means a contract has been made between [you] and Wilson’s Pet Bakery. [You] will not have the right to cancel the contract for the supply of personalised goods or goods made clearly to your specifications, unless the work has not already started on your order and or if your order has not already been dispatched. (Distance Selling, Section 13, The Consumer Protection Regulations 2000.) Your statutory rights are not affected. Your rights are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm
- Distance Selling Regulations: Customers have a 7 day 'cooling off' period as per Distance Selling Regulations. However, cost for postage incurred by the Company is not subject to refund if a customer chooses to exercise their consumer rights. Please also note personalised goods items are not returnable unless the issue has been discussed and agreed for return with Wilson’s Pet Bakery. - Complaints Procedure: If [you] are dissatisfied with our products or service, please do not hesitate to contact us. You can contact us by email: sales@wilsonspetbakery.co.uk. Alternatively, you can call on 01782 657 846 or write to us at Wilson’s Pet Bakery, 69, Atherstone Road, Trentham, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, UK. We aim to resolve the complaint quickly and efficiently and hope to prevent such a problem occurring again. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 3 days of receipt, providing and has not been tampered with. It must be in its original condition and is in a re-saleable condition. PLEASE NOTE: You must contact us before returning or exchanging any items. All items should be sent back via Royal Mails ‘SIGN FOR’ service. This will help with tracking purposes if the items that are being returned go missing or are delayed.
All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If your order cannot be fulfilled [you] will be offered an alternative or given a full refund. Goods are not sold on a trial basis.
